Words From the Middle

At the intersection of Sacred and Profane

2014/12/21

Everybody does it

So today was the shortest day of the year. I wish I would have remembered that when I was preaching I think I might have been able to do something with that. You might be wondering what “it” is that everybody does . . . I wasn’t trying to be provocative but just inclusive. What everybody does is wait. This week’s sermons are about waiting and what it can do for and to us and how we can maybe do it better.

I am still waiting* for the time to write more in these entries and I am hoping that I can restructure some parts of my life to make that happen. Not entirely sure how but we’ll all see how it goes.

Blessings and Merry Christmas,
