Liturgical Sunday: Fifth Sunday in Lent
You may be wondering what is up with this blog, where are the entries for the past few weeks? You may also be wondering why there are so few of the usual things on the blog and for that matter why that title? Well I didn’t preach this Sunday. Instead I assisted Rev. Bradley Childs with baptisms including my own daughter, Neala Grace, and Communion at both services.
I am not, nor have I ever been one of those people who think that there is anything particularly compelling about numbers but I find myself pointing out that there were 12, that is correct twelve – one dozen, baptisms at Knox Presbyterian, in Briercrest. Now that might not sound like much to some but let’s not forget that we print 20 service bulletins for Knox and don’t use them all every Sunday. What a great Sunday it was.
If someone reminds me to put up a post about what I think of baptism – both for infants and adults (believers in the CMA) – I will be happy to do it.
Blessings,
Barry
