Jesus and a woman

Fair warning about this sermon, there is quite a lot of me in it. It still comes from the Gospel lesson for today but I talk about myself more than I do sometimes. At least I think it is more than usual, if this is about par maybe someone could tell me?

I was hoping to go in the direction of how we treat people. The story of a woman being healed by touching Jesus’ clothes in a crowd is well-known to churched people but there are parts of the story I think can be and are overlooked. The woman was ceremonially unclean and as such interacting with anyone, let alone a teacher, was a real risk. Jesus talking to her was a risk for both of them. There’s more, but listen to the sermon and as always, let me know what you think as you are inclined and able.

There is a bit of introduction about why I sit to sing. The sermon proper begins at 28 seconds.
