St. Mark’s Presbyterian [audio:https://wordsfromthemiddle.ca/wp-content/uploads/110717_-_St_Marks.mp3|titles=Jacob’s ladder]

The Old Testament story of Jacob sleeping with his head on a rock and receiving a vision of a ladder connecting earth to the heavens is quite well known; from art to poetry it is an image that most of us know. What is more interesting to me is that there is a very significant connection between Jacob’s experience and the experience of many people who grew up in the church.

If you only have time or inclination to listen to one of these sermons, I think the St. Mark’s version is the more complete treatment of what I was trying to get across. Regardless of which you choose to listen to, I trust this site will be a blessing to you.
