He came to do what?

I didn’t think this was going to turn into a sermon on humility but it did. I often don’t know exactly where a particular text or group of texts are going to take us. If this makes it sound like I don’t know what I’m doing you are partly correct. I know what I am doing but when the Holy Spirit shows and says, “It’s time to do this instead” . . . well, I’m not about to start an argument I can’t do anything but lose with Mother Spirit.

This was one of those Sundays I could feel the direction I thought I was going to go in . . . dissolve so to speak into something different. I wish every time the direction was changed I got it right but sometimes I just can’t keep up. You will have to let me know if I made it.

By the way, there is an intermittent echo in the recording. It isn’t your equipment, it was mine. I am pretty sure I know why so it shouldn’t happen again . . . but then again it shouldn’t have happened this time.
