Nothing like the Christmas season to “help” you be late for things like blogs 🙂
Nevertheless, I did in fact preach on Christmas Day. I’m pretty sure this was a first for me as Christmas Day isn’t on a Sunday very often and the tremendously gracious congregations I have ministered with and to over the years have always told me to take Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to be with my family. However, with Christmas Day being on a Sunday I did in fact preach. The sermons aren’t very long, just as long as they needed to be. We sang a bit extra and enjoyed some extra chatting time; it was great.
Blessings,
Barry
