The journey of Lent has begun. In other years I have preached about the meaning and traditions of Lent and how we can approach Lent. This year I have gone in a different direction and felt strongly that this was a Sunday to talk about covenant. If anyone would like the text of my sermon, “Does Lent have an upside?” please let me know. I have a “printed” copy that I would be delighted to send along, mention in the comments that you would like one.

I trust that your Lenten exercises, whatever they may be, will be a blessing to you and an apt preparation for the very best day of the year – Easter Sunday.

Warm blessings,

Barry
