What do we want to be? Wise or foolish?
In many ways I am probably the last person to preach about wisdom. I have made so many foolish choices over the years* most of which my family and friends will confirm. However, It struck me that perhaps that is the best reason of all for me to talk about it. I know what it means to choose foolishness over wisdom and I’m here to tell you that it is never, never better.

There are a couple of things going on with this Sunday’s sermons. First and foremost I want to make sure that everyone who might listen to either of these knows that they are equipped to choose wisdom. Wisdom is NOT something you are born with nor is it a product of the nurture that you could not control when you were a baby, child, etc. Furthermore, wisdom is not something that you have to search for in the sense that it is hard to find, rather it is there waiting for you to notice it.
By the way, there are several new features in this blog post and, if you are so inclined, I would love to hear what you think of them. From the new layout to the addition of pictures, let me know. In the meantime, I hope you are on the lookout for wisdom in all her guises and ready and willing to not only listen to wisdom . . . but to do the wise thing.
