This week was an opportunity to spend some time looking at the blessings that we enjoy as people with a relationship with God through Christ. One of the most significant problems with a life that is characterized by “busy-ness” is how easy it is for us to forget what is important. I wanted us to take a look at how blessed we are; not as some new thing but as a reminder of what we already know.

I have come to the conclusion that one of the primary responsibilities of a preacher is to remind people of what they already know. There are very few opportunities for me to present something that is literally new to congregations as mature as those to whom I preach on a regular basis. However, I’m pretty sure that I can do some reminding now and then.
Thanks for visiting and, as always, please feel free to leave a comment or contact me directly.
